3 Clips are Contaigous

Last post of the year!  Happy 2012 everyone! I'd like to take full credit for making these, but they began when I was playing around with the preset animation generators in Adobe After Effects.  I've tweaked them to my liking, and they have taken on a very "MEDICAL" feel to them.  Hopefully someone will be able to use these.

2 Clips keep Looping

Had a chance to put together 2 more looping backgrounds. The "Thermal" clip I thought of after watching Predators (not bad).  The "Blonde" clip I came up with after playing around with waves and scaling in After Effects.  Although off the top of my head I cannot think of a time to use the clip, I really, really like it.  My wife says that it looks like wheat as well.  Maybe there is something there.

1 Clip Likes to Dish

Did this HDR Timelapse the other day.  Love the way I was able to catch the exposure under the dish while the sun was setting behind it.  One of the great benefits to HDR Photography.

1 Clip is for the Birds

This video file I am offering to you is actually a collection of 8 clips. This bird you see was having a fun time coming to the feeder and then jumping away (back to his/her nest maybe?). ANYWAYS, It was taken in the early AM as you can see a rather pastel color palette in the background. The depth of field is fairly short, but the little bugger is in it more often than not.

1 Clip Perks You Up

I shot this quickly when I saw how hot my coffee was in my cold, cold house.  The sun was just coming up and it looked great.  I'd love to see someone use this.  Shoot me a message or comment if you end up putting this into one of your works.

1 Clip Refuses to Leave

I had this clip for a while, debating on whether or not I should post it.  I caught this leaf that was refusing to fall thanks to a helpful spider web.  Originally I didn't feel this was generic enough to be considered "stock footage".  But then I realized that this may be helpful to people as an opening credit/closing credit clip.  Something kind of like what the feather does in Forest Gump ... except less destination oriented.  Anyways, it is pretty peaceful.  Continue pass the break to give it a watch!

Progression

I have been working on an updated way of organizing the many different clips offered here on this blog.  If you check out the Timelapse tab (or click here) you will see a new look I am going for in the individual pages.  It is slow but necessary work.

It also lets me keep track of the files a lot easier, each download link on those pages brings you back to the original posting.  This way I only have to keep one link updated to make sure the files are available when you need them.

I wanted to include file hosting through Vimeo, but every HD file I uploaded to them was down-converted to 1280x720.  Wupload has also changed their hosting a little bit, and I am no longer able to keep track of the clips.  I will look for another file hosting site, but right now, Uploadstation is the reliable option.

Stay tuned for many more clips soon!

1 Clip has a Milky Way

This was my first time doing a time lapse of the nighttime sky.  I was out of town in a remote area, and had a great chance to catch this.  Even though it turned out great, I also learned quite a bit that I will apply to more clips if I ever have the chance to again.  Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the 2 satellites that pass by in the clip.

1 Clip Dials it in

Saw this Sundial the other day and thought it would make a great time lapse.  I completely underestimated how slowly the sun moves vs. how often I took a picture.  I managed to fill up my card without the sun making much of a trip around the dial.  I plan on taking another one when I make my way out to this dial, but I only visit this area 1-2 a year.  Anyways, it is still a cool effect, and a great way to show passing time.

New Month! More clips coming soon!

Happy December everyone!  Sorry about my lack of updates in November, work was challenging and family obligations were enourmous.  I did have a chance to shoot a bit, but I need to process them and upload.  But expect an update hopefully later today, and throughout the week/month.

I wanted to quickly pass along a deal I saw advertised today. I will note, I personally do not benefit from you clicking this link.  I shoot all of the videos you see here on this site currently with the Canon T2i.  Newegg.com has the camera on sale for $629 after entering promo code "EMCJHKJ68" (Marked down from $799)

This is a great price for an HD DSLR Camera.  If you have been interested in getting into the game, I strongly suggest this as your entry camera.

Feel free to ask any questions in the comment section below.
