  1. Hi Beachfront,

Just a quick comment to say that we've used one of your turntable videos in the video for a track called 'listen to the sound' by The 8 Track Boogie Band. We've referenced you and included a link to your website in the end credits.

The video can be viewed here:

  3. Hi Breachfront,

I used all your turntable and meter clips for a music video I produced for one of my songs.

I credited your site in the description of the video.

I intend to use the same format for more music videos in the future.

So glad I found your site! The two movie projector shots Ive downloaded from you are just ideal for what I need. They are being used for a short student promo piece. Ill definitely share your site with others I know, because this is just what I needed to find today.

  10. Thanks for the clips!! We'd like to use the network switch on our new website as it really suits our layout. Would it be best to stream from youtube to the website, or download into root folder?

    Thanks again, great work :D

    1. You are better off either downloading it to a root folder or uploading the video again to YouTube unlisted. I cannot guarantee what might play from my uploaded YouTube video, since I sometimes add an annotation if other similar clips are available or if there is sometime important I want to get across. That is stuff you wouldn't want popping up on your website. Hope this helps!

    2. absolutely brilliant thanks! we'll pop it up on youtube unlisted as we're going to lay a colour overlay on top too. I'll add a link when its all up and extrembly. Thanks again the web needs more people like you :)))

  11. Hi Beach, we have the clip uploaded to youtube now but it loads very slowly - i have tried cropping the clip down to just 7 sec but it still takes over 10 sec to load, and we get a buffer symbol whenever the loop repeats. Any wisdom on this? I know its nothing to do with your clip but i'm sort of new to this and don't know anybody in the business! thanks :)

    1. If you've JUST uploaded it, YouTube may need to process it into their format (especially if it is an HD file.) I'd also try viewing your page in different browsers, different locations and using different machines. If your error is consistent you know it is with YouTube or the code on your page. Otherwise it may be a variable like the browser, equipment or internet speed and it would most likely be an isolated problem for a lot of your users.

  12. the clip been uploaded and processed since yesterday but the site isnt live yet - still a few kinks to iron out before its posted. Do you think it could improve once its submitted and indexed properly rather than coming from our local server?

    1. Not knowing that much about your server, I honestly cannot tell you. I would get a good indication though if the loading time is isolated or if multiple connections and machines are having the exact same issue. A benefit to local hosting is the control you have over the content. An issue with local hosting is it eats up your bandwidth.
