1 Stock Footage Clip Mist the Boat

This time lapse was definitely a labor of love, a test of patience and a possibly a fools errand all rolled in to one.  I actually shot this close to 5 months ago while I was camping with the family in the Adirondack Mountains.  I had a beautiful scene framed, with the clouds, water and mist all moving along different planes, but the lake wasn't as isolated as this final product makes it out to be.  There were actually quite a few early morning adventurers out in kayaks during my capture.  When the time lapse was compiled when I got home, it looked like a group of dragonflies were darting around the screen the way their paddles kept popping up and down and how they seamlessly moved through the water.  I ended up individually re-touching 570 images using Photoshop's "Content-Aware Fill".  It worked out wonderfully thanks to the rolling mist over the water, which was consistently giving me motion.  That helped hide any inconsistencies the software created.

Since my trip was short, and this was really the only clip I could get while I was there, I was determined to make it work. Hope you can use it for something!!!

1 Stock Footage Clips Driving is Flaky

Risked taking the camera outside today in the snow to quickly capture this shot during my lunch break.  I've been wanting to compile a good selection of "traffic condition" clips for people needing them for news reports.  I love the close focus on the snowflakes.  This also allows a little bit of anonymity in the background. Hope you have a use for it!

4 Stock Footage Clips are Gull-ible

While I was at the lake getting some great shots of the water, I managed to get pretty close to some seagulls who were hanging out.  They were mostly riding the wind close to shore, looking for food.  The wind was so heavy, they really didn't need to flap their wings that much.  The slow motion really helps capture the moment.

I've pretty much uploaded these clips untouched (not graded).  I tried to better expose the bird, and lost a lot of detail in the sky ... when I tried to level out the sky, it darkened the gull.  I decided to leave it up to you and your needs for this clip.  Touch it up how you see fit.

Once again I've included some different shots to hopefully help in editing.

3 Stock Footage Clips Break and Crash

Had a great time out by the edge of Lake Ontairo during an especially brutal storm was passing over.  The waves were quite impressive as they hit the pier.  I also got to test the durability of my FS700 when an extremely large wave hit the stone wall and covered me and my equipment.

Once again I've included some different shots to hopefully help in editing.

2 Stock Footage Clips to Fawn Over

I had set a goal for myself to get some footage of turkeys before the US holiday Thanksgiving comes around at the end of the month.  I've been heading out to spots where they have been spotted in my area early in the morning before I had to be in to work.  I unfortunately have not had much luck, but I did have a chance to hang out with these guys for a little bit right after sunup.

The second tracking shot of the doe with her little ones were actually done from my car.  I was on an access road at a local park and saw these guys off in the distance.  I am impressed with this shot, just because it was at 200mm out the window of my car while I was moving in reverse down the street.  They watched me while I parked and got out my tripod, and the tracking shot of the doe was done again at 200mm while she was checking me out.  I'm happy that I was able to come and go without spooking them too much.
