4 Stock Footage Clips are Gull-ible

While I was at the lake getting some great shots of the water, I managed to get pretty close to some seagulls who were hanging out.  They were mostly riding the wind close to shore, looking for food.  The wind was so heavy, they really didn't need to flap their wings that much.  The slow motion really helps capture the moment.

I've pretty much uploaded these clips untouched (not graded).  I tried to better expose the bird, and lost a lot of detail in the sky ... when I tried to level out the sky, it darkened the gull.  I decided to leave it up to you and your needs for this clip.  Touch it up how you see fit.

Once again I've included some different shots to hopefully help in editing.

3 Stock Footage Clips Break and Crash

Had a great time out by the edge of Lake Ontairo during an especially brutal storm was passing over.  The waves were quite impressive as they hit the pier.  I also got to test the durability of my FS700 when an extremely large wave hit the stone wall and covered me and my equipment.

Once again I've included some different shots to hopefully help in editing.

2 Stock Footage Clips to Fawn Over

I had set a goal for myself to get some footage of turkeys before the US holiday Thanksgiving comes around at the end of the month.  I've been heading out to spots where they have been spotted in my area early in the morning before I had to be in to work.  I unfortunately have not had much luck, but I did have a chance to hang out with these guys for a little bit right after sunup.

The second tracking shot of the doe with her little ones were actually done from my car.  I was on an access road at a local park and saw these guys off in the distance.  I am impressed with this shot, just because it was at 200mm out the window of my car while I was moving in reverse down the street.  They watched me while I parked and got out my tripod, and the tracking shot of the doe was done again at 200mm while she was checking me out.  I'm happy that I was able to come and go without spooking them too much.

1 Stock Footage Clip Rises in the East

I haven't quite gotten down the right method to capturing sunrises (tips and suggestions welcome). Obviously the dynamic range during one is absolutely huge and I've miscalculated a few times how much I needed to stop down, or how much ND to add.  Just like getting cloud time lapses, I also needed to become familiar with the correct interval between frames in order to establish a somewhat rapid yet visually natural pace.  I had a request a while back for a sunrise clip, so I thought I would upload one, but don't think you have seen the last ... or the best from me yet.

1 Stock Footage Clip Rakes it in

It seems like I am building a series here with this POV leaf raking clip.  If you remember my slow motion lawnmower video, I now have 2 point-of-view yard work clips in 2 separate seasons.  I'll make sure to create a snow shoveling one and one with possibly a garden spade or hoe or a hose sprayer for spring.
